As an ongoing reflection on sustainable awareness and waste issues, studio Jens Praet, together with Alberto Vallesi, is turning discarted packaging paper into new domestic furniture items inspired by the crude and utilitarian craftmanship to be found in shipping crates. Kraft enhances the beauty and archaic function of discarted paper and the most basic transportation items by reinterpreting both into new objects.


One prototype of the Kraft Collection ongoing research project will be on show at the marvelous Rocca Paolina in Perugia...
